Rebecca (BSc Hons, MBAcC AFMCP) is a licenced Acupuncturist, Functional Medicine Practitioner and Health Coach, specialising in Women's Health and Fertility.
A member of the British Acupuncture Council and graduate of the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, Rebecca brings a caring, warm nature and an integrative approach. It was Rebecca's own experience that drew her to practice Chinese Medicine. Having moved to London, her chronic migraines worsened in frequency and severity, compounded by insomnia and anxiety. Determined to get her health back on track, her research led her to Chinese Medicine.
In her first session, it was explained that Acupuncture was root cause medicine and that treatments were tailored to the individual, not just their symptoms. Soon after, Rebecca began to see improvement in her health, which later led to the decision to retrain as an Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine Practitioner.
Rebecca has a post graduate diploma in Paediatric Acupuncture and is currently completing The Fertility Support Advanced Diploma. She is also qualified as a Certified Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. More recently, Rebecca achieved her Applied Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AMFCP), at the Institute of Functional Medicine where she continues to deepen her knowledge on their Certification Programme (IFMCP).
After decades of poor sleep, sleeping pills and therapy, a magazine article changed my life. The wonderful Rebecca not only administers the painless treatment, she delves into the root causes and gives constructive advice on healthy eating and lifestyle changes. My sleep patterns are much improved and I would highly recommend seeking her out.
I was quite apprehensive at first but Rebecca’s calming style made me feel completely at ease. She took the time to really listen to me, understand my lifestyle and explore my medical history which was really refreshing. Her method focuses on trying to find the root cause rather than treating the symptom which had some surprising results. It turns out my problem was completely different to the one I originally thought and I learnt an awful lot about myself in the process. I’m a complete convert!
